Branding project for a Jazz Festival (school project)

Task is to create visual brand print materials (posters, tickets, brochures etc.) for the 25th Izmir International Jazz Festival in Turkey.

Posters

3 variations of posters have been created for the event. Each letter of 'Caz' (meaning Jazz in Turkish), has been combined with a musical instrument, piano, drums & trumpet, respectively.

This typographic pattern has been continued to be used in other design materials as well.

Learnings

Learned a lot about how to use colors, typographic hierarchy and most importantly, printing! (sorry there are no photos of my actual printed work).

The initial explorative process was the part I had fun the most. However, I had some big fights with Adobe programs since I was learning. Luckily now, I know well enough not to be annoyed with design tools anymore.
